Where our information comes from
We work from official information: the websites of museums and exhibitions, their published programmes and the product information of our ticket partner Tiqets (dates, opening times and what a ticket includes). Reference works such as Wikipedia are used for background only.
How our texts are made, and how we use AI
Many descriptions of museums, exhibitions and cities on Cultoura are drafted with the help of AI language models, working only from the sources above. We think you should know that. The facts that matter for your visit are not written by AI:
- Prices and availability: shown live from our ticket partner and refreshed every day. They are never typed into a text.
- Exhibition dates: taken from the listing of the museum or the ticket partner.
- Opening hours and what a ticket includes: taken from the official listing. If we cannot confirm something, we leave it out rather than guess.
How we check our texts
An automated check compares the statements in a text with the sources it was written from and flags anything those sources do not support. Flagged sentences are corrected or removed before publication.
Our most visited pages, such as the main museums, the major exhibitions and the city guides, are edited one by one, with their key facts checked against the museum's own website.
Keeping information up to date
Ticket availability and prices are refreshed every day. Exhibitions that have ended are marked as such and leave our overviews. When a museum changes its programme, we update the page as soon as we know.
Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Please email contact@adtix.org with the page and what is wrong. We check every report against the source and correct confirmed errors as quickly as we can.
Independence and how Cultoura is funded
Cultoura is free to use. When you buy tickets through one of our partners, such as Tiqets, we may receive a commission; you pay the same price as you would directly with that partner. Museums do not pay to be listed on Cultoura, and we also cover many museums and exhibitions for which no tickets can be booked through us.
Who is behind Cultoura
Cultoura is a website of Adtix, an independent online company based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 42179041).
