The Story & Collection of National Museum of Anthropology
Inside the National Museum of Anthropology, rooms hold pre-Hispanic evidence of the Mexica, Maya, Toltec and other cultures. The collection includes objects found in different parts of the country, and the exhibits are archaeological, anthropological and ethnographic, so you can follow several cultures through one visit.
The building itself is part of the visit: exhibition halls are ringed by gardens, and a vast central square takes the form of a concrete umbrella. It stands on Paseo de la Reforma at Calzada Gandhi, in Chapultepec Polanco. A digital guide in English and Spanish is available, and guided tours run in English or Spanish.
