Dutch Resistance Museum

The museum presents 100 personal stories that reveal the difficult choices the Dutch faced during the German occupation in World War II. These accounts examine themes of war, dictatorship, persecution, and resistance, offering insights into how ordinary people responded to extraordinary circumstances. Through these narratives, visitors reflect on questions of tolerance, freedom, and democracy during one of Europe's darkest periods.

Verzetsmuseum Junior, a dedicated section opened at the end of 2013, introduces younger visitors to the era through the true experiences of four children during the war. This portion of the museum creates an accessible entry point for families, allowing children to understand this significant historical period through perspectives close to their own age.
