About the Exhibition: Buitengewone Beesten
The exhibition reveals how people and animals develop in the womb or in the egg, and how this remarkable process can go wrong, resulting in animals with special abnormalities.
Visitors investigate how special nature can be. A good example is the calf with two heads, which was really born on a farm in Lattrop, Twente, and, as the story goes, even lived for a short while. Look closely and you will see it has only three ears.
