About the Exhibition: Collectiepresentatie
The route covers the body and what you can do with it, the family you are born into, the region and power structures you grow up in, work, leisure, celebrations, and the influence of illness, suffering and finally death. Walking through the museum is like following someone's path through life, inviting you to reflect on your own experiences and memories.
The presentation rests on a collection with two original faces, regional and religious, ranging from prehistoric urns to fine silverwork in an exciting treasure room. Paintings, sculptures, everyday objects and special keepsakes from more than seven centuries appear in galleries of surprising colours and moods.
