About the Exhibition: Feest!
Through all kinds of play elements you discover which festivals are celebrated in Limburg, how and with whom, why, and how they change over time. The range runs from carnival and marksmen's festivals to Ramadan celebrations and bar mitzvah, since many cultures bring their own festivities.
You can dress up for the Boérebroélof, design your own Ramadan lantern, shoot at a tree full of bölkes or dance at the silent disco. There are interviews, including with Jan Smeets of Pinkpop and a real Prince and Princess of carnival, plus a quiz, a festival stage and a candle to light for someone whose life you celebrate.
