Ga mee naar zee!

Alongside maritime masterpieces, the museum shows treasures from the seabed, including archaeological finds from two sunken ships, 't Vliegend Hert and De Rooswijk. Personal stories are told in every room, about clever boat builders, brave captains, strong women and cunning smugglers, and you meet Michiel de Ruyter and Leonora, an enslaved woman who escapes from Curaçao on a Zeeland ship.

The objects come alive through interactive games, an audio tour, video projections and even scent. From the panorama deck you can enjoy the view over the Westerschelde.
