About the Exhibition: Het Brielse kloosterleven opgegraven
The finds from the soil of Brielle, Zwartewaal and Vierpolders tell about the people who lived here from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. The exhibition builds on the excavations carried out in 2016 and extends the museum's treasure chamber.
Visitors can watch 3D films with reconstructions of the building history of the Sint Catharina and Cellebroeders monastery, using a VR headset. The display also includes soil finds, among them the skeleton of a man from the sixteenth century.
