About the Exhibition: The Animal Farmacy
Stefan Cools and Sandra van den Beuken, together COOLSVANDENBEUKEN, transformed the villa garden into a lasting apothecary garden for animals. It explores what animals know by instinct and people increasingly forget, such as cows eating plantain to ease stomach pain and birds flying above chimneys to shed parasites.
Visitors get to know the cultural landscape as a pharmacy for animals, in a garden that can be admired throughout the year. Volunteers help with its upkeep, and The Animal Farmacy is part of Camping Cunen.
