About the Exhibition: Uit de diepte
Monster sperm whales, angel sharks and giant sharks once swam on the very spot where we stand. Today's landscape was shaped by seas, ice ages and mighty rivers, changing from deep sea to tropical coasts and icy plains.
Traces of these ancient worlds lie hidden beneath our feet. Visitors take on the role of palaeontologist and discover bones, fossils and other petrified treasures from the deepest layers of the earth.
