A route of nine rooms tells and portrays the stories of East Zeelandic Flanders. It covers how water plays with the land and how the first people settled in the area.
Visitors learn how Hulst was among the richest regions of Europe in the Middle Ages and became a plaything of a large-scale power struggle in the 16th century. The exhibition ends with the question of what challenges Hulst faces today.
