Located in Seattle's Scandinavian neighborhood of Ballard, the National Nordic Museum is home to a permanent exhibition, Nordic Journeys, which shows how Nordic life and culture as it has evolved over the last twelve thousand years. There's also a rotating series of exhibitions from major Nordic cultural institutions and artists. Inside in 2022, guests can see the likes of "From Dawn to Dusk: Nordic Art from Sweden's Nationalmuseum", as well as a 19th and early 20th century photography exhibition, "Across the West and Towards the North: Norwegian and American Landscape Photography," amongst others. Outdoors, check out the Museum’s labyrinth on the south terrace, the oldest operating Finnish sauna in the east garden, and more.

Born in the spirit of innovation at the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle, the Pacific Science Center has ignited curiosity for more than 60 years. Since its founding as the nation’s first science and technology center, PacSci has worked to expand access to science, serve as a vital resource for educators, and fuel discovery and experimentation as a vibrant community laboratory. At PacSci, you can explore hundreds of interactive exhibits, wander among fluttering tropical butterflies, tinker with reusable products, touch live marine animals, come face-to-face with prehistoric dinosaurs, travel to outer space in the planetarium, rock out to a daytime laser show, and so much more. For an additional fee, guests can experience Pacific Science Center’s two IMAX® Theaters.
