The Museum of Vancouver is an award-winning civic history museum located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It's the largest museum of its kind in Canada, and the oldest museum in the city of Vancouver.

Science World is a charitable non-profit and science centre based in Vancouver, BC that engages learners across the province in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & design and math). Visitors to this iconic geodesic dome can explore interactive, hands-on exhibits and galleries that nurture their process of discovery and inspire connection with their natural, physical and built environments. At Science World, the team actively inspires the next generation of problem solvers, world changers and nerds.

A key cultural spot in Vancouver, the Bill Reid Gallery focuses on Northwest Coast traditions and contemporary Indigenous art. The gallery features a permanent collection of Bill Reid’s work, including Mythic Messengers, a white onyx masterpiece of Raven and the First Men, masks, carvings, and wire sculptures. The Raven’s Trove Gallery showcases Reid’s exquisite jewelry. In addition to its permanent collection, the gallery hosts rotating exhibitions of contemporary Indigenous art.

Opened in 1931, the Vancouver Art Gallery is the largest art gallery in British Columbia, and home to over 11,000 pieces by artists such as Emily Carr, Marc Chagall, and many others. Its collections represent over a century of artistic achievement and reflect on the social and cultural identity of the region.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is a fun, family-friendly place to explore and learn about the sea and the ships that sail it. Climb aboard the historic St. Roch, the first ship to make the west-east traverse of the Northwest Passage. Wander the decks and immerse yourself in the experience of the crew who worked aboard the boat in the 1940s. Kids can imagine, create and play in Underwater World, and the whole family can explore galleries and exhibits that chronicle the rich maritime history of the Pacific Northwest and the Arctic. Enjoy rotating art exhibits that explore our relationship with the sea, and take in exhibits on shipwrecks, lighthouses, early fur trade, fireboats, deep-ocean exploration, ship models, the Arctic and more. It is located on the Vancouver waterfront, one of the most scenic places in the city.
