About the Exhibition: 90 jaar LEGO
The exhibition starts with the carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen in Billund, whose name for his company came from the Danish words for play well. It follows the story from the first wooden toys to the first plastic bricks and the building sets of recent decades.
Visitors see models from tiny to XXL, including trains, planes, cars, pirates and themes such as Star Wars, Ninja and Harry Potter. Landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal and Tower Bridge are on show, and you can of course build with LEGO yourself.
