About the Exhibition: Borg Nienoord
The exhibition tells of the famous residents and their influence on regional development. It all began here in 1525, although the building looks nothing like the original fortress, and elements of the old manor survived the last rebuilding in 1887.
Stories hidden in the walls come to life through animations that show the former wealth of Nienoord. Visitors also learn about turbulent times and wars in the area and about the personal dramas of the residents.
