About the Exhibition: De Kremer Collectie x Alkmaar – Geloof
The starting point is the Luther cabinet from the museum's own collection, decorated with painted scenes about faith. Around it hang works from the Kremer Collection, each telling its own story about the beliefs of the artist or the collector.
Together they take you to the 17th century and ask what people believed in then. The show also invites you to reflect on your own convictions, whether religious or about trust in yourself and those close to you.
