Ontmoet Bèr – Mosasaurus experience

The show looks at the Maastrichtian period, when a shallow, subtropical sea flooded Maastricht and South Limburg. In it lived giant mosasaurs, and the museum holds remains of these creatures that were found locally.

The most famous of them is Bèr, who gives the exhibition its name. His 3D-printed skeleton forms the centrepiece, so you come face to face with the giant of the Cretaceous sea.
