About the Exhibition: Uitgeleefd! Beesten & Botten uit Brabantse Bodem
The exhibition brings zoological archaeology and paleontology together in a contemporary way, using complete skeletons of local animals. Bones tell about the history of animal and plant life, about former habitats and even about evolution.
Among the objects are bones of a medieval horse, cow, pig, wild boar, wolf, dog, fish and birds, plus a cabinet of curiosities. Visitors can even chat with a mammoth skeleton using AI technology, and the museum's mammoth, aurochs and whale skeleton are part of the show.
