About the Exhibition: Perpetual Motion
Prinsen created a film and music installation specially for the Mondriaanhuis, inspired by the search of both artists for rhythm, colour, movement and renewal. At its heart is the idea that art is always evolving.
Music inspired both Mondriaan and Molinari, from foxtrot and ragtime to jazz improvisation. A public programme for art lovers, music lovers and families is planned, including performances by the Canadian string quartet Quatuor Molinari.
