About the Exhibition: Wonderkamers

All the objects were once collected, made or used by Zeelanders. The focus is on the relationship between art and science: a pile of leather-bound books turns out to be a small cabinet holding butterfly specimens, and there is a moon indicator from 1783 made for a minister in Koudekerke.

Each object tells its own story. The rooms challenge you to think outside the box, look differently, ask questions, and pause over the design and production process.
