Lisse is a town and municipality in the province of South Holland in the Western Netherlands, within the Duin- en Bollenstreek.

About Lisse

The municipality covers 16.05 km2 and had a population of 22,982 in 2021. A document from 1198 officially mentions the name of the town, and Lisse celebrated its 800-year anniversary in 1998.
