Licht op kunst – Limburgse kunstenaars in Museum Valkenburg (2010-2026)

Since 2010, Resi Vervoort-Stevens has curated dozens of exhibitions at the museum on Limburg artists and themes from the first twenty-five years after the Second World War. For the anniversary, eleven themes were chosen that together portray the visual arts in and from South Limburg between 1945 and 1970.

Charles Eyck is the starting point for a varied group of older and younger artists. Some appear under several themes, and all are rooted in South Limburg soil and relate in some way to its own character.
