About the Exhibition: De Poptaschat
Copies of the Poptaschat can be found in museums worldwide, yet the original silver ensemble is remarkably little known to the public. The six richly decorated pieces together form one of the most important examples of Frisian and Dutch silversmithing.
The exhibition follows the story from the origins and craftsmanship to the journey that finally brought the silver treasure to the museum.
