About the Exhibition: Vaste presentatie in het Fries Verzetsmuseum
You meet people who describe how they experienced the war in the Frisian countryside, with stories of resistance, persecution, refugees and people who came to Friesland for milk and food. Special attention goes to resistance, going into hiding and the spectacular raid on the House of Detention in Leeuwarden.
Personal objects, photos, film fragments and documents bring the war close, and you are challenged to ask yourself what you would have done in those circumstances.
