About the Exhibition: Vissershuisjes
In the authentically furnished fishermen's cottages, the smithy and the little shop, time seems to have stood still. They show how people lived and worked about 100 years ago in the old fishing village of Skil.
Water came from the pump, entertainment from the radio, laundry dried by the stove and even the kitchen had a box bed. A visit is a feast of recognition and shows how much has changed in less than a century.
