About the Exhibition: From Dusk Till Dawn

The exhibition asks what happened after dark in the seventeenth century and whether the night was different from today. More than 100 artworks guide you through a time when the night was still truly dark.

You begin at twilight and walk into the darkness towards the break of dawn, discovering silent moonlit landscapes, cheerful night owls and thrilling witches' sabbaths.
