Het Hof vertelt

The museum gives the building a voice: it speaks in its own name and lets others speak whose footsteps it witnessed. Over the centuries it was an important meeting place in the oldest city of Holland, where generations lived, worked, met, practised and went to school.

Fragments of their conversations about dreams, fears and ideals can be heard in several rooms by putting an ear to the horns coming out of pipes. The building also shows visitors the way through its rooms.
